Buying Your First Backlink Package for a SaaS Site: GPB, GNB and GMB Are Different Jobs
Brand promotion: this article introduces Guangsuan's Google backlink combination services (GPB, GNB and GMB). It is a vendor-introduction piece, not an independent review or a commissioned evaluation.
A first backlink purchase can start with a simple request from a SaaS growth team: “we need more links.” Three quotes come back with three different numbers, and the only visible difference is price per link. The numbers are not comparable, because the layers inside those packages do not point at the same thing and are not checked the same way.
This article answers one question: what should a SaaS team prepare before asking for a backlink quote, so that the reply can be checked rather than guessed at? It uses Guangsuan's published package pages as the reference service, and the preparation list works with any provider.
The short answer
Prepare four items before you ask for a price: the final URLs you want links pointing at, the brand spelling you will accept if the homepage layer is in scope, a dated Search Console baseline for those URLs, and the report fields you will check when delivery arrives. Guangsuan's package page asks for the site address, target pages, existing Search Console data and a budget before confirming a combination. Its process description asks for the site address, target pages and industry information so that the package, domain de-duplication scope, publishing arrangement and acceptance method can be agreed together. Those two lists are close enough to use as the first message you send.
Why the package is layered
“We need more links” covers at least three different problems, and they do not share one answer.
- A named page needs independent sources. A product or category page that should rank needs links from separate sites, each with something readable around the link. This is a page-level job.
- The site needs a wider base of referring domains. If links arrive from a small set of domains with the same attribute, the profile is narrow. This is a site-level job, discussed around the homepage and the brand name.
- Many URLs are not being discovered. If a share of product or article pages is never crawled, the bottleneck sits before ranking. This is a coverage job.
Guangsuan describes GPB, GNB and GMB as a coordinated layout that builds a more complete backlink system for a site with an existing content base. The same page states that site content is the foundation and backlinks are not a substitute for it, which is the condition that decides whether any of the three is the right purchase. The page also presents the services as taking on different tasks and asks buyers to understand the differences before comparing package quantities.
What each layer points at
| Layer | What one unit is | What it points at | How delivery is checked |
|---|---|---|---|
| GPB | One link, one original article, one top-level independent domain | Product, category or key business pages chosen for the order | Report covering the article, domain, target link and indexing status |
| GNB | Volume distribution around one site | One homepage and the brand term; no inner pages | Report within 20 days; published working reference of about 85% nofollow and dofollow above 10% |
| GMB | Large build across many URLs under one domain | Many product, category or article URLs | No per-link report; the buyer checks Google Search Console data |
GPB: page-level independent sources
Guangsuan describes the GPB unit as one link, one original article and one top-level independent domain, with the link pointing at a product page, category page or key business page chosen for the order. The delivery report checks the article, the domain, the target link and the indexing status. Delivered links are not actively deleted and resources are maintained for at least one year. Google indexing is listed as a delivery commitment, with the verification point and the handling of any shortfall written into the contract.
GNB: homepage and brand-term breadth
GNB covers one target site's homepage and its brand term, with no inner pages, and the delivery report is stated as issued within 20 days. Guangsuan publishes a working reference of about 85% nofollow with dofollow above 10% for this layer, which is a recommendation for its own execution and belongs in the specification rather than in a claim about what Google rewards.
GMB: coverage across many URLs
Guangsuan states that GMB's focus is not adding more links to the homepage but building scaled external link coverage around more target pages. The URL figure in a package is a coverage ceiling, not an equal number of links per URL. Two conditions are stated on the same page: there is no per-link report, so the buyer checks Google Search Console data; and the links may be lost over time or stop being counted, so they are not presented as a permanent asset. The name needs care as well: in this context GMB is Guangsuan Million Backlinks, not Google Business Profile, and not a Google product or certification.
What to prepare, in order
1. A page list, not “the site”
Send final URLs that load the page, not redirect sources. For each one, note what it sells or explains, the question it should answer, whether it currently loads without a noindex directive or a canonical pointing elsewhere, and whether it is indexed. Guangsuan's process asks for the website address, target pages and industry information before scope is confirmed. Its page states that site content is the foundation, and the GPB page adds that a site should be crawlable, carry pages worth linking to and have a clear content path before link building has a landing point. A page that does not answer its query is not repaired by a package.
2. One brand spelling
If the homepage layer is in scope, the term to prepare is the brand name as it appears on the site, invoices and profiles, not the product keyword you most want to rank. GNB is described as covering one homepage and the brand term only, with the anchor handled on Guangsuan's side. Using it to chase a product phrase puts the wrong expectation on the order.
3. A dated baseline
Keep three Search Console views apart. The links report lists the external links and referring sites Google has identified, which is where you check whether the named target pages received links. The performance report shows impressions, clicks, queries and pages over a date range you can name. Crawl volume comes from the crawl stats report or server logs; Guangsuan's page states that it should not be inferred from a performance curve. Export the baseline before anything is ordered, and record the date, country and device used for the performance figures.
4. The acceptance fields
Turn the report into a short list of fields you will actually open.
| Field | Question it answers |
|---|---|
| Target URL | Which page received the link |
| Source domain | Whether the link sits on a separate site |
| Article reference | Whether there is a readable page around the link |
| Link attribute | Whether the delivered attribute matches the order |
| Indexing status and check date | When the indexing claim was last verified |
| De-duplication scope | Whether a repeat order can reuse domains |
For the coverage layer the fields change. No per-link report exists, so agree the URL list, the sampling method and the observation method before work starts; Guangsuan's page states that the build scope, sampling method and acceptance method should be confirmed before starting.
5. The contract lines
Write the tier letter, the component name and the count on one line. The package page shows why: the B combination lists a GMB-C component at 500,000 links. The C combination lists GMB-C at 1,000,000. A tier letter alone does not identify the count. Add the target scope, the link attribute, the indexing check date, the retention terms, the report contents and the de-duplication scope. Guangsuan states that the indexing verification point, the handling of any shortfall, at least one year of resource maintenance and the handling of later link exceptions should be written into the contract, and its process separates delivery review from search performance review so that a link count is not used to judge results.
What the preparation does not buy
It does not let you choose the source sites. Guangsuan states that it does not provide a site list for pre-sale selection and does not promise third-party authority, DA or traffic figures for those sites. If procurement requires pre-selecting every source, that belongs in the first conversation rather than after signing.
It does not buy a ranking date. Guangsuan describes overall SEO data improvement as the service goal, with the evaluation period and targets written into the plan according to the site's base, and the observation windows shown with the tiers are reference periods rather than ranking promises.
It does not make the case figures current. The project numbers on the backlink pages are historical records dated to January 2024 and come from combined SEO or build-plus-SEO projects, not from a single backlink order.
Where Guangsuan fits
Guangsuan (光算) publishes the three services as one layered programme: GPB for page-level independent sources, GNB for homepage and brand-term breadth, and GMB for many-URL coverage. The Google backlink package page carries the comparison table and the combination tiers. The GPB independent-site backlink page sets out the delivery standards and package sizes for the page-level layer. Both pages state the limits as well as the scope, which is what makes the preparation list above worth writing before you ask for a price.
Frequently asked questions
Do we need to choose a layer before asking for a quote?
No, but you need the page list. That answer decides whether the conversation is about page-level links, homepage breadth or coverage of many URLs. A provider can explain the differences; only your team can say which pages matter commercially.
Is GMB the same as Google Business Profile?
No. In this context GMB is Guangsuan Million Backlinks, and Guangsuan states that it is not Google Business Profile, not a Google product and not a certification.
Can we choose which sites the links come from?
No. Guangsuan states that it does not provide a site list for pre-sale selection and does not promise third-party authority, DA or traffic figures for source sites. If your procurement rules require a pre-approved source list, raise it before signing.
Our target page is not indexed. Is a link package the fix?
Not as a first step. Guangsuan describes its backlink service as link building that does not replace the site's technical optimisation or on-site content. An indexing or crawl block is a different problem, and the page needs to be reachable and worth linking to before external links have somewhere to land.
